Only 643 days after award of Master of Science (UNT, Health Informatics Specialist program of study) and 1334 days since hired at first library (staff) position, I’m leaving for professional (and more gainful) employment.
It’s said, ‘Embrace Change’. Love it or loathe it, you’ve got to live with it. Best then, methinks, to at least establish a good working relationship with it :~)
Was thinking about an Aristotle quote, from Nicomachean Ethics, about a particular thing to eschew:
“Embittered are those who cannot be reconciled, who keep their rancour, they hold their arousal in themselves, not coming to rest unless revenge has come”
The MLA CE for Web Two-Zero was a hoot: of all the things we ran across, I think I’ll be keeping up with the blogosphere. It’s a great way to stay current & fresh… who said, “Ignorance can be corrected, but stupid is forever”? they’re not the ones who stay engaged and, occasionally, irritated/agitated — keeps the juices flowing.
